The Test Shaker has for many years been the established machine to set quality standards in Threshing Plants and more recently has been used to maintain the standard of cut filler in Primary Departments. This is particularly necessary when cigarette brands are produced at several locations worldwide and the consistency of product has to be guaranteed.

 

SPECIFICATION & DESCRIPTION

The Quality Control Test Shaker consists of a band feed, four sieving trays and a fines collecting pan mounted in a robust frame.
Separation is carried out by vibrating four trays, each with a different mesh screen. These are arranged above each other so that particles falling though one screen are exposed to at least 650mm of the next screen. This feature provides greater screening accuracy.
Easy access to all screens enables the machine to be quickly cleaned at the end of each test.
