Rotadrum Feeder

Rotadrum FeederThe Rotadrum Feeder is manufactured in several pipe configurations to suit the conveying pipe diameter, the number of pipes across the Rotadrum and around the periphery of the machine. It presents a uniform homogenous metered carpet of tobacco on the surface of a drum to the underside of a series of vertical suction take-off pipes.

 

Advantages of the Rotadrum

  • Rotadrum - receiving from any kind of storage or infeed system. Variable speed drum feeds 3-16 making machines.
  • It is Blockage Free. The pin bars carry the cut tobacco to and away from the feed pipe ends.
  • The Rotadrum constantly meters the cut tobacco from its own small hopper avoiding the need of metering tubes or regulating feeders.
  • Storage levels in the hopper control by P.E.Cells
